We collect data that helps us achieve our purpose which is set out in the following sections. We only do this when we have a legal basis to do so, which is under Article 6 of the GDPR. We ensure we are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations within the UK.

Flow is solely responsible for all personal information when you use our website and our App. We are wholly committed to ensuring that your personal information is protected and never misused.

We will keep your personal information private and use it in accordance with relevant privacy and data protection laws as well as the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION? 

Flow is committed to ensuring your personal information is not misused in any form. However, we all know that no form of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be 100% safe. As a result, we cannot guarantee your personal information's complete security.

Our eCommerce company, Shopify, ensures the security and integrity of their platform and uses up-to-date technology to ensure the safety of your personal information.

We also make sure that all our employees are sufficiently trained and legally permitted in the protection of your personal information.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We may collect your personal data automatically or in a non-automatic way. We collect personal information about you in a variety of ways, including:

Information you give us via our website or apps, email or phone, in person at one of our stores, stands, or events, or in any other way. Information from your linked Flow devices - those that have Bluetooth connections and can be controlled via a Flow App. Cookies and other tracking technologies collect information about your online activities (see the Cookie Policy for further information). Information contained in your communications with us (such as emails and live chats) as well as information on how you interacted with email communications we sent you. Information from your social media interactions with us or posts about us that is publicly available. CCTV, film footage and images are examples of data collected from the Flow Studio located in Liverpool, England. Information from third-party data suppliers with whom you have granted permission to share your personal information.

If you share the information of other people with us (for example, if you buy a Flow product for someone else or register someone else for a Flow App), you must ensure that they are happy for you to share their personal information with us and for us to use it in accordance with this privacy notice.

HOW AND WHY DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

To provide products and services - For example, we need to manage and arrange your items to be shipped to your desired address and to email your digital receipt. Flow also needs to respond to your questions and requests through a variety of channels, including online, in person, by phone, mail, web chat, and SMS. The lifespan of our products, including stock management, is documented, monitored, and recorded. Also, when new goods or models become available, we will notify you.

To provide support and keep you updated - We may use your personal information to assist you with your Flow products from time to time. We accomplish this by tracking the performance of your product and giving you appropriate product support notifications. Sending you product support allows us to stay updated on Flow's products and services.

Marketing purposes - To promote Flow products and services we may use your personal information to communicate with you

Keep Flow and our customers safe - We could process your personal information with the intention to keep your information and our information safe. For example, to detect and prevent criminal activity such as fraud, or to assist in any disputes, claims or investigations relating to Flow products or services. 

WHO WILL WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH?

Please note, we may disclose your information to employees of Flow Recovery Limited. This is only used for reasonable needs. 

We may share information with third parties such as service providers. For example, for the purpose of delivering and processing your order, we are required to communicate to third parties such as our couriers.

We do not share or sell your data with other third parties, except in the following cases:

If the law requires it - legal proceedings may require such data. We may share information with third parties such as service providers. In the event that we sell or acquire a business or assets, we may disclose your personal information to the potential seller or buyer.

WHEN CAN WE CONTACT YOU IN THE FUTURE?

We'd like to send you information about our own products and services, and we may send you information about carefully chosen third parties. Unless you have indicated that you do not want to be contacted in this manner, we may do so by email or SMS. We will always ask you to confirm that you are okay with us allowing third parties to contact you through email in advance.

If you would like to change any of your preferences relating to the way in which we may use your information for direct marketing, then please update your user preferences or contact us 

HOW LONG WILL WE HOLD YOUR INFORMATION FOR?

We use a retention period system to guarantee that your information is only kept for as long as it is needed for the purposes it was collected for or as long as it is required by law.  When your information is no longer needed, we will make sure it is securely disposed of. 

HOW CAN YOU ACCESS AND UPDATE YOUR INFORMATION?

To guarantee that the personal data we gather about you represents your preferences, we provide you control over it whenever possible. You have the right to view, update, and change the personal data we keep on you, and you can do so for some of your personal data through your Flow account.

We will only send you marketing communications if you have given us your permission to do so. If you previously indicated that you would like us to contact you but would wish to amend or revise the manner in which we do so, you can do so by emailing support@flowrecovery.com

CHILDREN

Please note, that we do not knowingly collect or use personal data from children under 16 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 16 years of age, the personal data will be deleted as soon as possible. If a child under 16 years of age has provided us with personal data their parent or guardian should contact us immediately. 

Flow does not market to children through its websites, Apps, or goods.

MODIFICATIONS

This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time in order to remain compliant with UK law and to reflect any changes within your data protection processes. When we update or change the Privacy Policy we will update the “effective date” at the top. We recommend all customers keep updated and regularly review the Privacy Policy, to ensure they are aware of any changes.  Please note, you will be notified via email when any changes are made.
